Treatment
Platelet Growth Factors: regeneration with your own platelets
Biostimulation and regenerative medicine from the patient’s own plasma, applied with medical rigour in the joint and aesthetic fields.
What are growth factors?
Platelet-rich plasma (PRP) is obtained from a small sample of your own blood. When concentrated, the growth factors in the platelets are harnessed to stimulate tissue regeneration. We apply it mainly in:
- Joint regenerative medicine
- Facial and hair biostimulation in aesthetic medicine
- Support for tissue recovery
The keys to the treatment
From your own body
As it comes from your own blood, the risk of reactions is minimised.
Regenerating
Growth factors stimulate the natural repair of tissues.
Two fields
Useful both in the joint field and in aesthetics, with sound medical judgement.
What is the process like in the clinic?
The procedure is carried out in the clinic: a small blood sample is taken, processed to concentrate the platelets and applied to the area to be treated through microinjections. Dr. Torres defines the number of sessions according to the goal and your response.
Frequently asked questions about Platelet Growth Factors
Where is the plasma obtained from?
From a small sample of your own blood, processed in the same session to concentrate the platelets and their growth factors.
Is there a risk of rejection?
As it is 100% your own (autologous) material, the risk of rejection or allergy is minimal. The procedure is carried out under a sterile clinical protocol.
What is it used for: joints or aesthetics?
Both: joint regeneration on the one hand, and facial and hair biostimulation on the other. The indication is decided at the medical assessment.
